About Alberta Rider Elementary School

In partnership with Tigard-Tualatin School District, the YMCA is happy to provide State Licensed youth development programming at Alberta Rider Elementary School.

We currently offer a variety of fun activities that help children develop their academic and social skills in an enriching atmosphere. Educational and recreational opportunities are offered in an environment that allows children to develop at their own pace, working independently and in a group setting. A strong emphasis is placed in our daily programming on the YMCA five core values of love, respect, honesty, responsibility, and service.

    Opening at 6:30 AM until the start of the school day.

  2. After School Child Care

    Beginning at school release and running until 5:30 PM.

  3. Qualified Staff

    Educated and experienced, with continued professional development

    Our Inservice Days take place this year at Templeton Elementary.

State Subsidy

ERDC is a DHS subsidy program that helps low-income working families access affordable child care by funding all or a portion of tuition cost. The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is an ERDC approved provider. To learn more or apply for this funding, please visit the ERDC homepage.

Open Door

Everyone is welcome at the Y. We proudly provide the Open Door Program, granting qualifying families, children, and adults access to quality Health and Wellness services, Youth Programs, and Child Care.
