Since 2007, walkers and runners of all ages have come together on Thanksgiving morning to celebrate at this amazing event. With a simple mission to connect with family, friends, and neighbors while getting active and giving back, the event has raised over $500,000 and collected 80,000 pounds of food donations for local families in need. Additionally, it has supported the Helping Hands Backpack Meals for Kids program, providing over 100,000 meals to children at risk. This fun, meaningful event has become a cherished Thanksgiving tradition, drawing an average of 2,200 participants each year.

What to Bring: Non-perishable food items for the drive (think canned goods, pasta, rice, etc.)

This event is powered by volunteers, and we’d love to have you join us! Whether you’re interested in helping out on the day of the event or becoming a bigger part of the team, let us know. Many of our volunteers return year after year, often requesting the same spot along the course or at the stadium, so be sure to reserve your place early!
