Volleyball takes a few minutes to learn but a lifetime to master. Develop your focus, timing, and execution while having fun and getting a great workout.
In an environment that values teamwork and sportsmanship, young athletes master the building blocks of the game. With specially designed programs for each age level, players develop basic to advanced abilities and work towards achieving their full potential.
You can burn over 90 calories every half hour of playing volleyball.

Serving, passing, setting, and spiking! This on-going clinic will work on fundamental skills through fun games and drills.
This clinic meets once a week for an hour.

Volleyball at Beaverton Family YMCA
Featuring a daily schedule of games, skill stations, and small-sided and full gameplay, this camp is perfect for taking your game to the next level.
Our YMCA Volleyball Camps help players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental volleyball skills, and enhance their skill sets with a focus on passing and serving.
Volleyball at the Sherwood Regional Family YMCA
Participants will learn Volleyball fundamentals of passing, hitting, serving, and gameplay.
Important Information
- Practices will be 1.5 hours long one time per week
- Practice schedule will come out one week prior to the season
- Games will be played on Saturdays
- Teammate or coach requests accepted with online registration only. We try our best to accommodate all coach/player requests but we cannot guarantee every request will be made.
- Volunteer Coaches are needed for teams.
- Referees are provided.
- Players will receive a team jersey.
- Please view registration description for specific league dates/details.
We believe every child deserves a chance to participate in our programs through our Open Door program, financial assistance is available to members and non-members. Open Door requests are processed on an ongoing basis.
You may cancel your registration for full credit if the request is received in writing (via email/mail) two weeks before the start date of the program.
Cancellations made within the two-week window will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee, with the remaining funds placed as a credit on your account that can be applied to any future YMCA program. All program-specific supply fees are fully non-refundable.
No refunds or credits will be provided after the program's start date.
