Join us for a fun, friendly, and interactive Homeschool PE class! This weekly class will be focused on movement, fitness, sports skills, and group games.

In September 2024 we are concurrently offering a Youth Small Group Strength Training program for Youth ages 12+, this is a customized program is offered by an experienced and certified personal trainer to build familiarity with movement patterns and equipment to set a good foundation of strength. Families can choose to participate in Monday and/or Wednesday classes at 1:00pm. 

Currently offered at the Beaverton Family YMCA, additional locations coming soon, with interest.

Our camps range from ages six to twelve and twelve to up.

Homeschool PE

Our weekly class is designed to provide children aged 6 to 12 with a fun and engaging way to stay active and healthy. Through a variety of movement exercises, including stretching, jumping, and running, your child will enhance their flexibility, coordination, and endurance. They will also have the opportunity to develop their sports skills, including throwing, catching, and dribbling, through a range of exciting games and activities.

Join us for a fun, friendly, and interactive Homeschool PE class! This weekly class will be focused on movement, fitness, sports skills, and group games right here at the Beaverton Family YMCA. For children 6-12 years old.

During PE classes, we are concurrently offering a Youth Small Group Training class for youth ages 12+.  

Register each child individually and note that additional sibling registrations for PE are offered at a reduced price. 

These programs are open to both YMCA members and non-members. For non-member registration please speak to the Member Desk to sign up for a non-member account, 503-644-2191.

With interest, we can also bring back the Group Fitness classes for parents and members at the same time as HSPE and YST. Fitness classes are always included in the membership. Daily drop-in rates are available for non-members.

Families can choose to sign up for one or both days (Monday and/or Wednesday), and for as many segments as desired. The programs will run in ~5 week segments, planned as follows.
