Belly Dance classes boost self-esteem, improve balance, increase flexibility, and enhance endurance. This ancient dance has a rich historical significance and is accessible to individuals of all body types, ages, and skill levels. You will learn fundamental movements, combinations, and how to match these with traditional, cultural, and contemporary music. Class begins with stretching and warming up, followed by focusing on proper dance posture and movements and ends with a cool down. Please wear comfortable clothes (like yoga wear) to exercise in, your water, and a coin belt - if you have one (We will have some for you to borrow).
