Youth Sports FAQs
What youth sports programs do you offer at the Sherwood Regional Family YMCA?
We offer a pre-competitive sports program for 3 – 8 year old boys and girls. Its primary objective is to help children learn the basic rules, skills and tactics of the sport using a unique "games approach" to instruction. The structure of the game is modified to be developmentally and age appropriate to maximize fun and success. To register for any of our youth sports programs please visit our Registration Page.

Are there sports league sponsorships?
Yes. The YMCA offers financial assistance to those in need so their families can participate in programs regardless of ability to pay. You can help us to do that by becoming a Y Sports League sponsor. Businesses will receive recognition on team shirts, a plaque with team photo and recognition in YMCA literature. For more information about sponsorship contact our Welcome Center.
