Volunteer at the YMCA
Volunteer / Internship Opportunities

The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is a volunteer organization that provides services with the help of 3,500 volunteers. Like thousands of YMCAs around the world, our Association is over-seen by volunteers who tirelessly serve on boards and committees. So much so, that volunteers outnumber paid YMCA staff three-to-one in the delivery of programs and services. For more information about the many ways in which you can get involved, please visit our FAQs Page.

Volunteer as a Coach
Volunteers are key to a successful sports league. Each season the YMCA needs volunteers to coach our youth sports teams. Volunteer Coaches will typically have 1 practice per week and games on Saturdays. Coaches are needed most during Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. The YMCA needs positive role models that can provide a fun and safe atmosphere for the kids.
