Does everyone make a Hoop Elite team?
The Beaverton Hoop YMCA will carry a combined total (boys + girls teams) of thirty - five Hoop Elite teams. We will try to form the following number of teams per grade level, but we can carry more teams in a given grade level if we have fewer teams for another grade level. Each team will be comprised of ten players max. We do not place more than ten players on a given so players can receive quality playing time during league games. If we are not able to place your child on a team you will be issued a full refund. If a player cannot attend tryouts they will not be placed on a team unless a special request has been put in by one of our Hoop Elite coaches.
