Nature Learning & Friendships

School Programs at YMCA Camp Collins

Nestled among the fir trees, along the scenic Sandy River, YMCA Camp Collins is an outdoor classroom and playground in your own backyard.

From The Nature Principle by Richard Louv:
“A reconnection to the natural world is fundamental to human well-being.”

“A real field trip provides a chance for students to use all their senses, spontaneity, and investigative learning—what researchers called a superior learning environment that goes beyond specific curriculum-based learning.”

You are invited to experience all the learning and outdoor fun that YMCA Camp Collins has to offer. Come for a day, a 1 night retreat, or a whole week!
