Little Things Make a Big Difference
The majority of children coming into foster care in the Oregon’s tri-county area must wait in an office for 1-2 hours while a social worker calls to find them a suitable placement. This is usually a time of high anxiety for children, as they've recently been removed from their home and are being moved to a new, unknown foster home.

Tragedy Puts Life In Perspective

Emotions still swelled as hundreds came to the Bellevue Family YMCA on Saturday night to honor the four people killed in a plane crash yards away from the building in early February. Nearly a month after the crash, those who filled the gymnasium still wiped away tears and choked up as they remembered the accident and each of its victims: Glenn and Elaine Mull, their daughter Amy Harter and their granddaughter Samantha Harter.
