The Beaverton Hoop YMCA offers our young members a chance to become acquainted with the proper use of upstairs fitness area. In this program we will provide the basic information needed to use weight/cardio machines safely and effectively. Once completed with Youth Fitness Orientation, young athletes will be free to use the equipment and participate in any of the group exercise classes. The upstairs equipment along with our group exercise classes (Cycle, Functional Circuit, H.I.I.T. and Body Fusion) can provide great cross training for all sports. Age restrictions apply for use of cardio and weight equipment.

Cross training takes your game to the next level whether it’s on the field, court or in the pool.

Weight Training

Cardio Training
• Increased endurance performance
• Quick recovery time during games
