New Employees receive a free individual membership and upon completion of required trainings will receive a free family membership.
The YMCA offers discounts to employees on YMCA programs including summer camps, enrichment classes, youth sports and childcare.
The YMCA provides 2 comprehensive medical plan offerings for full time employees (40 hrs./week), Providence and Kaiser, which includes dental and vision coverage. Part Time Plus employees (30 hrs./week) are offered a comprehensive HSA Providence medical plan.
Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Long Term Disability insurance is automatically paid for on all Full Time employees.
One of the primary benefits of working for the Y is that you can build your savings with the YMCA Retirement Fund. Once eligible (after 2 yrs. of employment, completion of 1000 hrs. or more per year and must be 21 years old) employees will automatically receive a contribution of 8% of their annual gross income from the YMCA.
On your first day of employment with the Y you are eligible to enroll in a 403 (b).This is a tax deferred account and your money is invested in a variety of vehicles, including stocks and bonds to ensure future growth.

Full time employees are eligible to participate in Flexible Spending accounts by setting aside pre-tax dollars to pay for certain medical and child care expenses.
